This is an unassuming takeaway/restaurant restaurant selling many Japanese hot and cold food together with Thai food. It does have four Formica tables inside, but I would not describe this as a restaurant per se. There is an extensive menu of every type of sushi, sashimi, teryaki, tempura, katsu, hsomaki, uramaki, noodles, bento boxes, Thai curries and soups. We went for the sushi Super Deluxe Set. The bass and salmon were both thickly cut as they lay on the rice like a chaise lounge . Ingredients were all fresh and tasted good. The rice was a little dry, but it was a hot day and it took us 15 minutes to get home, so it may have been perfect at point of sale. We spoke to the chef about allergens and he was able to advise accordingly (not much to worry about with Japanese food). He was friendly and knew his stuff. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the man who was front of house here - language barrier and did not seem familiar with the food. We will be back for a takeway to explore the menu further. They would do well to get a bigger venue for the full restaurant experience.
Amazig Sushi..ordered the 9 piece set and it was very tasty and fresh. Pricing is reasonable and service was outstanding. Highly recommend this place!
