At times, I find that Italian meals in London can be quite expensive for the portion size when compared to their origins. Despite the smaller portions for a higher cost, the delicious taste often makes you overlook the price until you finish, wondering how it ended so quickly. The restaurant is fantastic, and the staff, especially one particular individual, stand out for their excellent service, humour, and overall experience. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy some homemade pasta and drinks.
I used to own my own Italian restaurant so I was impressed they use proper Guanciale in their Carbonara and not bacon and cream which don’t belong in a traditional Carbonara. I loved that they also suggest Pecorino not Parmesan for Carbonara - again this is the proper way. So I confidently made a reservation for the family and wasn’t disappointed. Special mention to Francesco who looked after us. So many places these days have mediocre service and Francesco was a fantastic host. It’s no surprise most other nearby places were empty and this place was fairly busy. Will be back soon.

The pasta exceeded our expectations by a long shot! WOW! We had the cacio e pepe and the arrabiata, and we will definitely be coming back with friends!
