You can tell the excellent quality of the fish at Poseidon. I was impressed that they specialised in 20 varieties of fish and that you have the option of either having it fried in groundnut oil and matso flour or you can have the healthier grilled option.

Dropped off our daughter nearby and looked for somewhere to eat on a Sunday evening … Fish n Flame sounded good for two pescatarians and the food on the website looked good too … popped into the takeaway side at first then back out and into the restaurant… it was quiet at 8pm, we were the only diners… but we hadn’t eaten out for a few months so we’re looking forward to it.
The service was polite and friendly.
I had the fish goujon burger which came with salad and chips and mushy peas and a sauce on the side … delicious.
My partner ordered the salmon and out came sea bass … so it was offered at the same price with apology or we could have waited … we snapped it up and it was large and beautiful looking when it came out.
I had a cappuccino after, no decaf so I’ll probably sleep even worse than the last few nights since the horrific events in Israel and Gaza
Partner opted for a ginger green tea …
The venue is clean and smart enough, pretty even with its hint of soft orange brightening up the sophisticated greys

Great music. Comfy atmosphere. We ordered fish cake starter, cod fish and chips and also I was about to get the chicken burger but instead was recommended their chicken kebab so gave that a try and that was most definitely worth it. unique flavours with vermicelli rice. the cod fish itself was very fluffy in texture, coated with good batter. the service is immaculate. attentive, friendly and hospitable. I'd recommend this place as a must visit!
