Went here for some late afternoon/early evening cocktails on a sunny May Saturday after the Dulwich festival. Beautiful setting, grand inside. We sat outside in the back seating area which overlooks the park. Perfect for a cocktail. There's outside seating and parking at the front too. The rum cobbler was the winning cocktail - rum, raspberry liquor, port, lemon and vanilla over crushed ice and topped with five fruits - strawberries, raspberries, apple, blueberry and pineapple! Tasted a bit like an extra good sangria. The glass is carved crystal and tall - makes for a very refreshing drink on a hot day. Tried the Hemingway dacquiri too - okay, quite strong, not as nice. Some very unique looking cocktails too like the rose tinted glass which comes with a cognac foam. Definitely worth a visit on a Summer's day.
Beautiful house in a lovely setting. Great food, great service and very reasonably priced too. The roast dinner was one of the best as the Yorkshire puddings were enormous!! The sticky Toffee pudding was so light and very yummy 😍😍😋😋
We got married in Belair House this month and it was beautiful.
The planning process felt so organised and relaxed for us – we really had minimal stress as BH put together our schedule and were always quick to answer our questions. On the day, John/OJ were stars, keeping us on track and being on top of everything. So many of our guests and our photographer complimented on how well the day ran due to them, which was a huge relief for us.
The staff were lovely and welcoming. I didn't catch the name of one of the lovely girls who were there from the start to the end, accompanying us during the ceremony and handing me drinks to calm my nerves. You were amazing!
Thank you to the Belair House team!
