My mum and I had a wonderful afternoon tea with tasty sandwiches and cakes. Especially the scones were delicious. The Orangerie is a lovely place and the garden looks beautiful. The staff was very kind. Altogether, we enjoyed a perfect stay. We will definitely come again.

We had dinner at the restorant in the hotel for my friend birthday, everything was so stylish , the ambient was nice and relaxing , the food was tasty and all the staff very helpful and professional . I love the garden, I will deffinetly visit this place in the summer for coffee and cakes in the garden.

We loved the afternoon tea. It was a lovely atmosphere and we loved the beautiful deep voice of the waitress. She was very nice and my daughter and I had a pleasant afternoon. With to much food. We will come again in October.

Housed in a lovely white Victorian manor, my friend and I visited as a birthday treat and we were so impressed. We walked into the restaurant without a reservation but were accommodated and only after a 5 minute wait were shown to our table. The setting was lovely, a slim room but with lots of windows and mirrors and felt so airy, the tables were not packed tightly and the tables were all dressed with linen tableware and beautiful china. The wait staff were attentive but not obtrusive. We had the standard afternoon tea and it was served with a selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones. We really enjoyed the warm delicious scones served with clotted cream and jam, the chantilly cream strawberry tart, chicken ceasar salad sandwich, chocolate brownies. But the piece de resistance was the delightfully scrumptious lemon macaroons. We were delighted to receive a complimentary dessert in order to mark my friends birthday. Michaele, who helped us that afternoon was absolutely brilliant. We were there a little over 2 hours and never felt rushed. The whole experience was so lovely and special and I would recommend it to anyone. I hope to visit again if im celebrating an occasion in London in the future.

I was thrilled to have my sister over with me for the weekend. Last time we had been together was in our weekend away in Bordeaux. I took Friday afternoon off and decided to treat us with a nice outdoors english tea. After all the miserable rain this week I really wanted a space outdoors, which lead me to do quite a lot of research. Then I found Number Sixteen (south Kensington). Number 16 is a hotel really close to south Kensington station, but at the same time once you step in you feel miles away from the city. The hotel decor is really lovely

I was trying to find a nice spot for a Friday afternoon tea with my sister with nice outdoors (after the miserable week of rain) and I came across number 16. As soon as I stepped in, loved it immediately. The hotel is such a beautiful cosy place with really friendly staff. Because it was Friday afternoon, the outdoors gardens was really peaceful. We've spent a good 2h just enjoying the garden and our tea. Food wise it's not the best in town, but the overall experience was really good! Loved the tea itself, the cupcake, the carob sandwich. It was quite a big portion! didn't manage to have dinner after that. Would definitely be back
