I really love the place!! I’ve been in Zela more than once. The service was really attentive, Saturday night was with Dj set and the atmosphere was amazing. The food was delicious as always, I am a Sushi lover but the Mediterranean touch really make the difference . High recommended
This was the best restaurant I have been to in Europe... Including Michelin started restaurants. My wife and I finished up our honeymoon here after traveling through Naples, Florence, Rome, Paris, and Amsterdam. The scallops are better than anything I have tried before. Other must try items include the salmon rice chips, the tuna tartar, Toro nigiri, quail egg white truffle nigiri, wagyu teriyaki, and the fried rice. The service was also spectacular. The only thing that was a dud for me was the edamame. Overall, though, I was extremely happy and can't wait to go back!
What an amazing restaurant!
The expert chefs from around the world and the innovative fusion of Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine create some of the most stunning food I have eaten in a long time. A lot of the Japanese dishes have interesting Mediterranean/Spanish twists to them, making something really unique and frankly unforgettable! Our highlights were the shrimp al ajillo and hoisin duck gyoza and the wagyu teriyaki 48hrs which was incredibly tender. The cocktails were also really delicious (I would particularly recommend the Coco Chanel and the Matilda)
During a tuna masterclass at Zela (which was such a fun and interesting evening) we also tried the Toro “pa amb tomàquet” and Tuna “Huevos estrellados” which were absolutely lovely twists on the classic Spanish dishes! the mochi and hibiscus sorbet to finish were also really, really good.
The décor is also really gorgeous and the staff were really friendly and hospitable, and always enthusiastic to give explanations about the food and the way it was prepared.
Overall (if it isn't already obvious) I’m a big fan of this place and will definitely be back soon!
