Party of 4 we went for the platter and a couple of extras. Firstly, I loved the atmosphere, buzzing with people who range from dates, friends, colleagues.
The sushi came out as when it was ready, which at first I found strange but then was able to enjoy each dish, the taste and texture.
The food was LOVELY, sushi bursting with flavour paired nicely with a glass of wine! The cocktails were probably one of the best I have ever tried!
It was the first time I tried, Kimchi and I wasn’t disappointed, perfect texture and flavours complemented each other. Their dessert range was lovely, when the doughnuts came out I did think they are tiny but just one had generous amount of pistachio filling and they were HOT! Beautiful.
They only loose a star in service as the lady who was looking after our table, I found was lurking around which felt like they wanted us to quickly leave. We were there quite late so they didn’t have anyone waiting for a table.
Giving 4 stars because I had 50% off food. Otherwise it would have been 3.
The menu is varied but I found the flavours weren't well balanced (either too spicy, or too sweet or too bland). There's truffle paste in a couple of dishes were it makes absolutely no sense (in my opinion of course). Haven't tried the cocktails.
Overall I didn't eat badly, but I wasn't impressed enough to think about visiting again.
