We stayed at Hilton Olympia Hotel the night before our European tour commenced (June 2018). We didn't bother to go around to look for somewhere to have dinner and just ate at the Society Restaurant at the second floor. We ordered the Fish & Chips and a pizza. When the server was giving us glasses of water, he accidentally tipped one glass and some of the water got poured on my brother's shirt. Since we were just staying there, my brother just went back to his room to change. The server was so apologetic and he offered to give the pizza for free. We said it's okay but he insisted. The food was really good. I liked the fish & chips (huge servings) and the pizza (I think it was a Margherita) was also good and served hot. We weren't charged for the pizza so I want to thank him (I forgot his name) for giving it to us for free.
The breakfast Buffet here was really good. Whether you want to have a leisurely breakfast or just grab a quick bite before heading off to work. They have a solid spread and they seem more reasonable than other breakfast buffets in the Kensington area.
The hotel however, leaves a lot to be desired.
Tip : They have a Costas in the Hotel and if you request the staff they will get you a coffee from costas as part of your breakfast
Breakfast buffet 3.5
Hilton Hotel 1 / 5
Really Nice Buffet Breakfast. Large spread with a lot of Continental options plus a lot of hot breakfast options in the buffet - baked beans, scrambled eggs, eggs to order, 2 types of bacon, chicken and pork sausages, black pudding among others. the Breads are really lovely too.
They always have a special of the day. I was given Eggs Benedict one day and a yoghurt, berry compote, muesli combination on another.
Service is excellent and the staff is very helpful and sweet.
