Mariage Frères in Covent Garden is a unique tea house with a non-traditional, Asian-inspired menu. The iced teas are particularly refreshing and flavorful, with the Havana and Tokyo Mojito being my favourites. The Flower Summer tea is also delicious, I recommend adding a bit of liquid sugar to it.
The scones are also delicious, but they are very different from traditional British scones. The Matcha scones have big chunks of ginger in them, which gives them a unique flavour and texture. The Cinnamon scones are also very good, and the Vanilla Raisin scones are perfect for those who like a sweeter scone.
Overall, Mariage Frères is a great place to go for a unique tea experience. The cool view overlooking Covent Garden is also a nice bonus.
I had brunch with marco polo tea and everything tasted absolutely amazing. Best meal I've had in London. I was quite full and took the dessert to go, which was also amazing. I'm very glad I came here for tea brunch and I would 100% recommend, especially if you prefer savoury food more than sweets!
A wonderful French treasure house in a Georgian townhouse in Covent Garden housing the world’s most exclusive of luxury teas, Mariage Frères, bringing the tea savoir-faire to the capital as well as instagram influencers and walking-in tourists for an exclusive ambience of tea decor, aroma and a taste of their extraordinary collection. We enjoyed the immersive afternoon tea experience along with the artistic patisserie served with utmost elegance. The pricing did meet our expectations. We enjoyed walking around the retail space at as well as Mariage Frères in London as well as the tea museum. This place also has private event spaces.
Thank you @mariagefreresofficial for this out if the world afternoon tea experience ☕️
