Stumbled across this lovely, traditional Victorian pub while killing time before meeting a friend.
I just love old school, single room boozers like this, complete with carpet, old brass till, unpretentious people and a decent selection of cask ales. The latter included Sambrooks and Adnams at the time of my visit on a Sunday afternoon.
There are TV screens for watching sport but they don’t dominate the atmosphere. Also outdoor seating for fair weather socialising. Definitely my new favourite pub in Fitzrovia.
I’d like to give a massive thanks to Luke for his heartwarming customer service last Wednesday. Not only it was a beautiful pub, but also kind people behind the bar always make the place feel like something different. Cheers to you mate! 🍻
A lovely traditional Victorian London pub, sitting on the corner of Cleveland and Foley streets. Quiet when I visited but a very welcoming feeling about the place. Lovely staff and a great pint of beer. Pictures of a few king and Queeny types above the bar. Plenty of cask and keg on offer. A good place to pop for a pint.
