Being a vegetarian and choosing the dish from the menu is always an ardent job. I have been to this place for a Xmas meal with my team. I had to choose the dish , well before we arrived here.
The place offers a great hangout for people who want to have a booze after work. My team really enjoyed the place.
I ordered three dishes
for Starter- Butternut squash, pickled black radish, feta and lemon curd
for Main - Forest mushroom, salsify and shallot tart, sauté spinach and celeriac puree
for Finish - Pear and almond tart, spiced pumpkin ice cream
I am not used to these dishes but sure they looked good and tasted delicious.
A few weeks ago I was invited to try out the new menu at the recently refurbished ‘The Square Pig’ in Holborn. It’s a short walk from my office and it’s always useful to find good restaurants around that area, as it’s a great spot for meeting friends for a quick bite after work. As you walk into The Square Pig, it’s got a typical ‘gastropub’ feel to it, with a lively buzz and mix of people drinking and eating.
Great place with amazing cocktails and atmosphere! The pub is clean and well-decorated. The terrase has a lot a seats! 100% recommended ;)
