If you are looking for the best breakfast in W10.....come to think of it LONDON!! - then travel no further then the glorious LOWRY & BAKER.
I first sampled the delights of their in-house made Banana Loaf six weeks before, which is the very best! Tempted back from Richmond, Surrey my partner and I sampled what was the best breakfast ever!! Yes really! I understand that the delightful new proprietors (ex The Ivy Wimbledon), which, is hardly a surprise in view of the second to none service and scrumptious food that tastes devine and is presented to such a high standard. Do not miss the opportunity before word spreads and orderly queues start to form.
Sitio muy típico para hacer el brunch buen servicio, algo lentos y buena calidad. Recomendable.
Good start!
Feels like we were in a lovly kitchen
I went there this summer in July with my best friend for a brunch and it was perfect!
Great atmosphere, very calm environment, tasty food and simple, but pleasing decoration.
I loved its quiet and local energy!
This is such a great gem of a spot! Amazing coffee, food made to order, very locals only awesome. And it has a & in the name!!!
This is one of my favorite places to have lunch in this neighborhood, and I visited this place last week for a nice brunch. The atmosphere of this place is always magical, and the patrons generally seem to be enjoying themselves. We ordered their Eggs Benedict with bacon, which was brilliantly prepared and was full of delicious ingredients.
I would love to visit this restaurant again, and would recommend this place to all my friends.
Went to this place with my partner and it was lovely. The food is great and the place is nice and simple. It is a great place to sit down and have nice little chat. The place can however get crowded on weekends, so wouldn't recommend going there on weekends.
This is one of the best cafe I have ever been too. It was charming and friendly too. The coffee I had here was very good and refreshing also. The place looks beautiful and it is a must go if you are in this part of the town. I would hugely recommend this.
A really charming spot in portobello. We sat outside on a beautiful sunny morning in London. No complaints on dishes, all were enjoyable. A good flat white.
Also a bonus, they do not charge service charge on a casual weekday barring Friday.
Came here with a friend for brunch on a Sunday morning after visiting a nearby bakery. It's a very small cafe with just around 10 tables inside and practically no kitchen apart from the cooking equipment they have alongside the coffee machines. But it had such a nice and relaxing vibe, tucked in the corner on the Portobello Road which was so quaint and lovely.
We luckily snatched the last table right at the window which was just the perfect spot for us to have some delicious brunch while people-watching. We both ordered the red velvet pancakes which were absolutely amazing! Fluffy, soft and thick pancakes with maple cream and berry compote which made it so refreshing. I usually can't eat more than one pancake in a stack but it was so light and easy to eat that I had two of the three served! Coffee was of a Monmouth blend which was strong with a smooth texture, very nicely done.
Staff were all very friendly and attentive. I really liked how they didn't rush us even though customers kept coming in. I also appreciated their professionalism when dealing with so many customers at the same time in such a tight space and so much pressure.
Officially one of my favourite brunch spots in London, I am definitely coming back soon!
Stumbled across this very busy Saturday morning find. Seating both inside and outside and the food was incredible. Design and service was really great too. Affordable find in central just off the Main Street and one of the top Time out finds in London - would recommend :)
Perfect spot for breakfast. All the classics. Gets busy and is only small so you may have to wait. Nice outside seating area on good weather days.
The poached eggs on English muffin with smoked salmon were descent but not the best I have tried. I could not taste hollandaise enough and there was too much of spinach taste in my opinion. I prefer a bit lighter bread to go with eggs Benedict as well. The waiting time was around 30 minutes which is quite long although we were warned about it in advance. The cappuccino was just average
