I went today for the first time and i loved it. Its small and has a nice feel to the place. I really loved the quirky design and character. Its quite compact and i did have to move out the way a couple times for people to get around but i still liked it. The food was very tasty, the latte was nice and frothy and the staff were lovely. If it was closer to me i would be there all the time. Would definitely recommend it.
Briki takes its place at one end of Exmouth Market. It specialises in Ethiopian Taf coffee as well as a Mediterranean inspired menu. Briki serves an all day menu including breakfast, lunch specials, sandwiches and loaf cakes. It is always good to see that all the food is covered and behind the counter glass front. For drinks, there are also teas, juices and wine on offer.
Briki can be a good study café since it has an abundance of natural light. That's a big plus. However, the people sitting outside often smoke. Since the café is quite airy that smoke can filter inside which is not so pleasant. I'm hoping the smokers disappear with the onset of winter! In terms of pricing I would say it's in line with standards. Can feel pricey though. Cakes are average.
