And guess what? We know this is big but we're just going to say it. This is the best roast in the world. Bar none. Seriously. It's amazing.
Just in front of the Camdem Stables Market, The Lock tavern is a very nice pub where chill on the weekends.
I'm used to go there when my friends come to visit me in London so I can show them what is a typical English Pub.
There are two floors with comfortable sofas, and a nice terrace for sunny days.
The pub menu has all the classics you would expect and the price are truly fair enough.
The drinks are cheap and the staff is young and kind.
Pardon the pun, but the whether you like the Lock Tavern or not will be all about your personal taste. Let me explain. The atmosphere and venue are both excellent for anyone who likes to party, and this is reflected in the fact that you will be hard pressed to find a table or even a place to stand sometimes. The food is also of a good quality - regular pub fare but often with a twist, such as the 'Uncle Buck Burger' or the pulled pork sandwich. Now the reason I must leave the rest to you is because of the clientele, whom many perceive to be a little too concerned with acting cool. If you enjoy that, think I'm being unfair, or can at least tolerate it, then this place is excellent.
