Its no wonder this amazing venue won the "Best Live Music Venue " reader poll via Time Out. With just 30 seats and a total capacity of 65 , its a wonderfully intimate space where the evening is all about the music.
Last night we had the pleasure of seeing three artists live:
Harry Pane - Gravelly, high-energy bluesman with guitar, harmonica and stomp board. What an opener !
Next up came Natalie Shay - a 17 year old award-winning singer-songwriter from London. Something tells me this lady will soon be playing huge venues - but to se her up close and personal was a real treat.
To finish we were treated to the intense soulful melodies of Alex Francis, who played a mean guitar, and spoke of a full band set I would just love to see. An absolute wow.
The whole evening showed that the live music scene in London is flourishing.
The Green Note is very, very special.
Love this place love Risa always excellent music best hang
One of the best folk venues in London. I've always enjoyed the music there. They've also been kind enough for a group of Leonard Cohen devotees to meet there and celebrate the man's music and poetry!
