Living near The Warwick Castle, I have walked past many times and it's always buzzing with people. I have been twice, once for a drink with my wife and another time for food with my wife and her two friends from New York. We found the drinks selection and atmosphere (which included drink suggestions from the bartenders) fantastic. Food wise, between us we tried the Beef Burger and the Fish & Chips (for the tourists) - all the food was great and the dishes were all under 10 pounds which we found great value. Would go again and would recommend to anyone.

❤️ A charming traditional mews boozer.

The Warwick Castle is located at the end of pretty row of shops on a secluded open mews in Little Venice. The nearest Tube station is Warwick Avenue, it’s an enjoyable four minute walk to get here.
The Warwick Castle is Grade II listed and was built in 1846 then rebuilt in 1867. The pub, Warwick Place and Warwick Avenue are all named after Jane Warwick, the bride of the original landowner.
This is a two room pub with a cosy and traditional feel. The main bar is clad in wood panelling with a complimenting detailed fireplace. The solid timber servery is a good size and has ornate back bar. The seating is a mix of low level furniture plus stools around the bar. Off the main bar is a small dining area with wainscoting and a marble fireplace. There are some stunning features here, the Victorian clocks, Bass mirrors, etched glass windows and the colourful leaded stained glass entrances. In the warmer months, the seating outside is a great place to spend an afternoon.
The beer line up was impressive, there was a good combination of continental and cask beers. One of my favourite pints is Paulaner, so my decision was easy. I really enjoyed my pint, price point was about average. There is a traditional pub grub menu available, Fish & Chips cost £17.20, Roasts are available on a Sunday.
We arrived around 4pm on a Saturday, the pub was packed with local punters and a few visitors to the area. There was a nice buzz about the place with a welcoming local feel. The service was good, we didn’t have to wait long to be served and the staff were all smiles. There are a few TV’s showing live sport, we managed to catch a bit of the Rugby World Cup. If you fancy testing your general knowledge skills, the pub hosts a weekly quiz.
We absolutely loved our time here, this pub charmed the pants off us. The setting is wonderful, the decor and original features are marvellous and the beer was great too. I don’t like to use the phrase “Hidden Gem” but this one truly is.

Excellent! Such a lovely pub, will certainly return here again. We visited the place for a Sunday brunch, ate the weekend specials vegetarian Wellington and a chicken roast. Decent food and friendly staff. The only disappointing thing was that even though we booked our table in advance, we were seated in a tiny corner table next to the toilet :( Otherwise, the place is a stunning old pub with wooden interior and vintage paintings, a truly enjoyable place to be!
