another great asian foodie place. not cheap but better quality and service than you get at itsu or wasabi or banana tree. Also have a pub upstairs serving beer and buns a bit like a japanese izakaya

Decent conveyer belt sushi with rice served at the correct temperature. Often restaurants serve sushi rice too cold. Actually really good sushi rice all round. Not too compressed but not falling apart in the soy sauce either. No time stamps on the plates so you can't tell if a dish has been making the rounds on the belt for hours.

We ordered chicken teriyaki and a California hand roll off the menu. For the rest we had a dishes from belt. Salmon ceviche and seared tuna from the "Contemporary Sashimi" menu and a bunch of maki rolls. The salmon ceviche with a very lightly acidic sauce was my favorite. Not a classic ceviche as there was no onion or coriander. And sliced thin like a tiradito, actually. Pleasant garnish of very fine shards of deep fried carrot. Good sized portion for the chicken teriyaki made with de-boned thigh meat. California hand roll had too much mayo for my taste. Maki rolls were all nice but didn't rock my world. Didn't like the miso vinaigrette that came with the seared tuna, but it was nice enough just dipped in soy.

The booths at the back are the nicest place to sit, I think. Good value house wine at £16.95 per bottle.

Just as great as it's other branch in Copthall Avenue, K10 is a always a good bet for fresh, fast and interesting sushi. Plus, this one is open for dinner too which is convenient!
