Nice Sunday roast with friends. Portions are good and well cooked. Had a nice pint of Longboat to wash it all down. The brownie completed a nice meal. Service was friendly and fast enough, for such a busy day.

Our first meal in London while waiting to check in.
My friends were introduced to Fish & Chips. I got the Steak Sandwich.
To this day and after a week of trying different F & C they swear by Southwark Tavern as the best!
We got to seat in one of the cells.
The whole ambiance is eerie. Many ghosts there.
Highly recommend it!

A nice little pub with friendly staff. We had the Sunday Roast which was plentiful and tasty. Some just needed cooking more. The potatoes weren't crisp at all and the veg was quite hard. Really nice stodgy yorkshire puddings though and lovely gravy. Good amount of different vegetables. A busy place too being right by Borough Market.
