It is said the name of this station is the subject of a gameshow on BBC Radio 4, in which there are no rules. This gameshow made it so famous that even when this tube reopened after 6 years’ closure for its old lifts repairs, the team of this gameshow was invited to perform an opening ceremony, and a memorial plaque commemorating one of the show’s longest-serving panelists was installed at the station later!
