An evening out at Wicked and looking for a place to eat near the station. I'd never been to a Frankie and Benny's but I had heard good thing's. So we decided to head here hoping we wouldn't be hampered by waiting times etc. We were presently surprised to be seated within 5 minutes in this American Diner-esque setting.
i'b a big fan of spicy food, so the Cajun Chicken Calzone stuck out to me like a sore thumb. The food came quickly and I was struck by how big this calzone actually was. I don't know if this is a trend with me or I just can't eat a lot of food but I couldn't eat the whole of this Calzone. The flavours themselves were rich and spicy, pretty much what I look for in a meal.
The only issue I would have is that the staff themselves were a little slow in noticing that me and my girlfriend had finished our food. However, this could have been because we were in a rush off to Wicked. Nonetheless, a great little diner that serves great food. This is slowly becoming a bigger chain in London and throughout the UK. There is a reason for that.
Waitress was nice and helpful, food was great, loved especially the vegan cheesecake. Nice place to chill, comfortable seats and quiet place. Loved the Veganuary menu and would come back! What I disliked was the fact that we could hear the chefs swear and complain loudly in the kitchen. Also, they did not know we are portuguese and were talking about us, saying in portuguese that we "think that we will lose weight eating vegan..." That observation made me feel weird and uncomfortable, staff members should have a little more respect towards their customers... Other than that was fine, would love to come back for the delicious, flavourful food.

Frankie & Benny’s in the station is our local, we have been coming here once a week for over 3 years now. The staff are lovely some have known us for years and treat us like family. The have a fantastic children’s menu which my daughter loves. The food is good and service is always really quick. I highly recommend Frankie & Benny’s whether it’s a quick stop off between journeys or you’re looking from a family friendly restaurant.
