This was one of the best pizzas we've had in a while. I guess when an establishment has a focused menu with not too many variations and menu items, then it's easy to maintain high quality of food. That's what Pizza Pilgrims does - no convoluted menu, no weird pizza flavours just honest, good quality pizza offered in a lovely setting, especially when the weather is warm.
Service was a tad rushed, but that's the type of eatery it is.
One disappointment was my drink - was meant to contain elderflower in it but there was absolutely zero elderflower added. Waiter didn't seem to believe me when I told him, which was poor on their side - I know the flavour of elderflower and that drink had none.
Nonetheless, very good pizzas (don't mind the burnt bits) !
Top Pizza ever! The dough is perfectly cooked and tastes great, high quality ingredients for a delicious pizza! The place was crowded when we arrived (at 8pm on a Saturday) and we got a table at the ground floor. There is also an upper floor with plenty of tables. Service was great and fast, pizza was amazing - one of the best pizza I’ve ever had in London, and I eat pizza very often - and the beers we got were delicious. (We shared a truffle and mushrooms and one with aubergines and provola!)
Upstairs you can find clean and tidy toilets.
There is also an outdoor area with tables.
Worth the visit!
We where waiting around a while before we could order as our table was placed really weird behind two others that the staff couldn’t get to. They passed out dishes over other peoples heads. The pizza was incredible and always worth it.
