What is it? This is the return of The Butlers Wharf Chop House Bar. Those exploring the River Thames south bank will welcome back the Bar and its new no-frills menu where simple, delicious British fare takes centre stage. Who’s behind it? D&D. Size? Boasting a spacious, heated terrace with unparalleled views of Tower Bridge and the City, The Butlers Wharf Chop House Bar & Grill is an ideal spot for after-work drinks or an informal date. Riding the capital’s gin trend, the bar’s mission is to keep it local and celebrate small-scale producers, including Jensen of Bermondsey.
If you fancy lunch with a view, you can’t get much better than right in front of Tower Bridge in London. Butler’s Wharf Chop House has a prime spot for this and the food is just as perfect as the view. Danny and I were invited down to try out their ‘Ultimate Chop House Picnic’, which is a picnic hamper full of absolute delights, all presented in a wicker basket with gingham tablecloth.
