Probably my favourite pub in London. Service was great - very friendly and quick. Our food was really good too. Good range of beer. I would always recommend this pub.
Awesome river front pub, historic place, food was good, fries with curry sauce outstanding, beer selections great atmosphere the same
We popped in this fab pub pre birthday drink, really liked it! Great staff! Would really recommend it! It’s got a lot of history!
My favourite pub, full of history and atmosphere. The staff behind the bar are very helpful, polite and efficient. The food was excellent value, delicious and served with a smile.
This place is an historic time capsule. With its original stone floors and pewter bar, one can easily imagine some of the colorful goings on that have played out here over the centuries. Great ambiance, character, service, and food.
Ok for what it is - chain pub food. Nice river views and the food was filling with a good choice on the menu. Nice for people looking for a pub style experience. A great mid way watering hole between Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf riverside walkway
On the shores of the Thames in the forgotten Docklands still stands the sailor's haunt of a pub dating back to the 1520s. Welcoming the weary traveler in the front entry is this cheery Christmas tree and warm fire, t

Old, full of history, a breathtaking view of the Thames and a delicious Sunday roast are the best words to describe the Prospect, a perfect spot for any sunny Sunday. This pub has lovely atmosphere in spite of the gloomy past, is perfect for groups and the whole area is fantastic for a relaxing walk. Plus they serve the soup in the bread bowl, and that's always a winning move with me.
London s oldest! This place was apparently destroyed during the great London fire but has been reconstructed since.
Another legend says this was frequented by Charles Dickens. Also some say thus also was a venue for public hangings by river side.
Well the fact is all this makes the place full of character. And the nice fire place with cold point in your hand is a great way to pass a cold evening
Wanted to go here for a while and it didn’t disappoint, tucked away it was a welcome retreat on a blustery wet Sunday evening.
Lovely food although after being advised that we really needed to book, there was only us sat in the dining area for two hours! Others came up to sit here wanting to order door but were turned away being told this area is for people who have booked only. We were here from 5-7 so potentially they had lost a fair bit of custom.
Saying that though we ordered our door at 5:05 and it didn’t arrive for an hour!
Lovely historic pub, sadly no atmosphere, staff engagement was lacking and the chips were raw.
What a great pub! It's rustic and cozy. It's a busy place, but based on its history, it's ot surprising. This pub was established in 1520 and rebuilt in the 1770s. It is the oldest riverside pub in London. This place was used in days of old to hang pirates. The noose remains on the beach. They have a great selection of beverages. The food is delicious. You can download an app to order from your table. There are great views of the river. It has many interesting things to photograph. Restrooms are located on the ground floor. They are on the tiny side, but it's an old pub. There is also a restroom for handicapped people. It has two floors as well as two beer gardens and a coupleof seats out in front. There are plaques all over the pub giving a bit of history. The staff are fantastic! They are super friendly and fun to talk to. Be sure to ask them if they've seen ghosts and they will happily tell you about their experiences.
We came here on a bit of a tour on some of the oldest pubs in London. Great atmosphere inside and lots to see, so many interesting facts and details and great opportunity to sit outside upstairs if it’s a nice day. Good choice on tap too.
Really nice place with lots of history. I wish they have someone from time to time to share more about it. During this visit, around 7pm, I wasn't able to find any food for the children or anything lighter than fish and chips or a burger. That could be a normal thing that happens on every pub or the food was so good they ran out very quick or simply it was late. Atmosphere is really nice, nice and friendly staff, very helpful and polite. Nice place next to the Thames with really nice view to Canary Wharf and surroundings. Come and visit.
we were walking in this beautiful neighborhood, as we saw this we had to go to drink something. it was 11:30 so the kitchen was not open yet. we asked wich beer the bar recommends. she gave a bit to taste of like 5 diffrent beers. amazing service. and how it looked inside. WOOOW ! the staff is extremely kind and its an unique experience! totally recommend!
