I visited Ask Italian in the 02 for dinner with a friend on a Saturday night. There was a wait of about 40 minutes to be seated, even though there were numerous empty tables. It seemed they had a severe lack of staff.
When the food arrived, it was very delicious and the portions were adequate. The prawns starter was beautifully cooked and seasoned, and the lasagne of which I ordered the grande with meatballs was divine.
The meal was reasonably priced, and our waiter was friendly. Not everything we wanted was available, which was disappointing as I was looking forward to having lemon tart.
Overall, it was a lovely and satisfying meal. Shame about the long wait.
Been there couple times, amazing place amazing food . Our amazing waiter Florian helped us through the menu was very patient with us , he made sure we had everything we needed . Definitely coming back . Service 10/10 food 10/10
It's probably the best place to eat that's affordable around the O2. I went to an event last week and wanted something simple and quick to eat. Ask Italian has gone a bit downhill since it first opened many moons ago..arrive early if there's an event otherwise you'll have to wait quite a while.
My partners pasta bake was cold so had to have a new one made..the best thing was the folded garlic and mozzarella bread. Not that I don't recommend just that it's an average place.
Staff are great and professional even when overworked and crowded.
