Very nice restaurant, the atmosphere is busy but in a good way and the service was on point. Everybody was super nice and available when needed. It was the first time my mum had Persian food and she was delighted.
The food now, I loved it! The portion are generous and I was here for it. The naan made in front of you, the flavours just great. I will definitely go back.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very romantic.
Staff is really nice, professional and helpful. They make sure you feel comfortable and the service is great.
The food was delicious and fresh. The only thing I wasn't happy with is the amount of prawns you get as I don't think that is enough.
Overall, a really good experience and would highly recommend.
Nice relaxed vibe and friendly welcoming staff. Grills tasted great with a subtle saffron flavour. The eggplant starter was amazing and so was the freshly baked garlic naan bread. Yogurt drink wasn’t what I expected though - the extras added ruined it for me. Definitely recommend and will be back to try some more dishes. Meal for two around £60
I have had the pleasure of dining at numerous Persian restaurants across the globe, but my recent visit to this hidden gem in Wimbledon, London, left an indelible mark on my taste buds and culinary memories. From the moment my wife and I stepped inside, we were greeted with an inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
The ambience at this Persian restaurant is nothing short of exceptional. It effortlessly blends the warmth of Persian culture with modern design elements, creating a welcoming and cozy environment. The tasteful decor, ambient lighting, and soft Persian music playing in the background transport you to a different world, making it the perfect place for a romantic dinner or a memorable family gathering.
What truly sets this restaurant apart, however, is its exceptional staff. The team here is not only incredibly polite but also remarkably knowledgeable about Persian cuisine. They take the time to explain the dishes, recommend pairings, and ensure that every guest feels valued and well taken care of. Their genuine passion for Persian cuisine shines through in their service, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the food. Persian cuisine is known for its rich flavours and aromatic spices, and this restaurant masters them to perfection. The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, ranging from traditional kebabs to mouthwatering stews and fragrant rice dishes. Each plate that emerged from the kitchen was a work of art, carefully prepared and bursting with flavours that danced on our taste buds.
What truly impressed us was the affordability of the food. In a city where dining out can often be pricey, this Persian restaurant offers a refreshing change with its reasonable prices. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you leave with satisfied appetites and happy wallets.
My wife and I have had the privilege of exploring Persian cuisine in various cities around the world, from DC to Tokyo, and we can confidently say that this eatery has earned a special place in our hearts. It stands proudly at the top of our list of Persian eateries, and we eagerly look forward to returning to savour more of their delectable dishes.
In conclusion, if you're in Wimbledon and looking for an enchanting dining experience that combines a delightful ambience, friendly and knowledgeable staff, wallet-friendly prices, and, above all, an explosion of flavours in every bite, make sure to pay this Persian restaurant a visit. It's not just a meal; it's a culinary journey that will leave you craving for more.
My husband and I have been to Diba in Wimbledon quite a few times now and it has been amazing every single time!
The atmosphere is just beautiful, they really spent a lot of time and effort in making the restaurant absolutely gorgeous, classy, romantic and traditional persian all in one, a photo from any angle looks brilliant. It is great for a couples date, friends & groups or with family.
The food is delicious! Whether you have in inside the restaurant or order for a take-away (in the photo). Diba recently catered for a party we were having and everyone loved the Kabab Koobideh!
We have been to the Wimbledon Branch and Chelsea branch, the service was exceptional at both places, the staff really know about the dishes and recommend which dishes goes with others.
The desserts (Havij bastani and Faloodeh Bastani) are the best ones I have had in any persian London restaurant. We frequently have dessert in Diba and then order ourselves a take-away version for the next day.
Fully recommend Diba, and we are always looking forward to our next visit!!
Food was really good well priced for london (Wimbledon) probably why it was so busy took a while to get seated and a bit cramped waiting.
But food was good waiters nice overall would go back on a quieter day.
Once again l ate here tonight 3 of us. What an absolute " Gem " of a restaurant in Wimbledon.
The food was fantastic, as was the saffron ice cream. Once again , thank you for another amazing dinner. Regardy Nev
Food, Staff & Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Restaurant comfort, atmosphere & ambiance ⭐️⭐️
Way to hot to enjoy an evening meal, no air conditioning or alternative way ie. Fan or portable ac to cool us down on 8th September 2023
Nice vibe inside, we were limited for halal sit in options in Wimbledon so we came across Diba - had the chicken wraps which were delicious as we weren’t super hungry.
Definitely will come again and try the rest of the menu
One of my favourite persian restaurants in London. I love their selection of persian dishes. My go to is usually maast moosir and kashk bademjaan for starters and baarg kebab for main course. The staff are quite friendly and helpful. I’ve only deducted one star because just once my kebab was slightly undercooked. Otherwise 100% recommend them.
Fantastic evening in this restaurant, always full of people, nice and polite servis, tasty food.
Had a super lunch here, was surprised that the Hummus doesn’t come with bread so you have to order your own however we ordered a Garlic Naan which was freshly made to order and was superb. We also had the Vine leaves to start, followed by a wrap and a mixed meat selection. Really enjoyed the top quality Persian food, service was very polite and attentive, ambience was great and the decor too. I’ll be back, and for what it’s worth I really struggle to believe some of the other reviewers comments.
Wow! One of the best ever Persian restaurant.
Totally recommended, Such a friendly and caring staff plus an amazing dishes and environment.
As there was a group of us we went for the mixed starters and mains which were pretty good. If I was getting seperate ones then my choices would be different as some dishes I really liked and some I was less keen on. I think a la carte would be a better option. A nice restaurant overall.
The meal was out of this world, so delicious the kooftee and bachara desert with ginger beer. I would recommend it because its authentic and that day the scene looked romantic with red roses 🌹 hanging from ceiling. It looks to be popular but it depends what day you come according to amount of people.

The food here is very excellent.
I really recommended.
A filling dinner for a family of 4 with great taste and service. All the food was nice, especially the nan bread texture. We ordered Ashe Reshteh, a mixed grill for 2, Gheyme Bademjan, rice, and nan. For desserts, the Persian doughnuts and the lemon sorbet went really well together, even better with a black coffee.
However, having the doughnuts on their own would be way too sweet.
Overall, an impressive first-time experience!
Went there for Persian New Year with a couple of friends. Had the special fish and the portions were massive but made myself eat most of it. There were a lot of families there and people were getting up to dance. Had a lovely evening and will definitely be going again.
