Great Japanese food.... Well priced and good quality. Self service place with a range of sushi and bento options. Picked up boxes of assorted sushi and a bento with yaki Soba. Quick, efficient and pleasant staff who helped me make a choice.
I must say i was afraid of trying their food, but god if i regret it. Its amazing, tastes good, its kinda cheap (it depends on what you eat). I always like to go around (miso+sushi pieces+bubble tea+noodles/box) so.. You get it. Just a good surprise!!
I have just spent 7 hours on the plane and a hour in a car to reach my final destination, Hammersmith, We haven't been here for over 4 years, so what a change it was to us !!! As soon, as I saw Wasabi, i become very excited about the idea of trying it, loving all things sushi all that !!! Firstly, I was dessapointed because he took me 15 minutes to argue with the manager for them to reheat the cold edamame peas, but they did at this end...
Then, i had a soup with gyoza which was not very tasty, I mean he food was good but the stock tasteless !!! So, I went to ask for soya sauce and was asked to pay for it !!! What pay for soya sauce ??? It probably cost them more money to make to tiny soya bag, rather that adding the right amount to the stock in the first place... Never mind, on my to Soho, where hopefully I will get some good Japonaise food...
After giving it a second thought, the concept behind wasabi is very similar to Pret a Manger, but not yet there !!!
As always Flat Eric...
