Lima is a Peruvian restaurant run by Virgilio Martinez. It’s not a cuisine that I am really familiar with and always keen to true new adventures, I decided to visit Lima on a Friday night. Nestling between Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road on Rathbone Place, it’s not a restaurant that stands out and I almost walked past it. Inside the decor is modern and clean with mirrors everywhere. The wait staff are very helpful and explained every dish in detail.
After visiting Peru I became a huge fan of Peruvian food. I really enjoyed Lima, the food was great and the ingredients were very fresh. Presentation was impressive, a true piece of art!
The decoration and the atmosphere were really nice however the service what slightly slow.
I will definitely be back!!
Our cousin took us to this restaurant during our vacation and it was incredible! The staff is super nice and the place has a great vibe. The food... Oh my God, the food is just perfect! The chef made a special menu for us (thanks for that!) and we tasted many different things, from ceviche to a delicious beef. Congratulations to the chef (I hope you win many more Michelin stars because you deserve it!) and to the whole staff! The next time we're in London, we'll visit you again. :)
