Been here a couple of time. Usually when it's cold outside as the place is nice and snug and the food is hot and full of carbs and meat. Both times I've opted for the special, pork knuckle and more recently the wild boar. Both are generous portions, the pork knuckle in particular. Healthy amounts of potatoes , cabbage and veg. Cooked well.

There are a few gems on the wine list to look for.

Amazing Food. Walking along the back streets in the Shepherd's Garden area of Mayfair my wife and I stumbled upon this lovely little bistro with the description of Polish-Mexican under the name. I was intrigued and happy to find the menu was Polish or Mexican dishes. The Polish and Mexican would have been a bit much to comprehend. My wife and I both opted to the Polish side of the menu. She had pierogies and I had Kielbasa, both were outstanding and could even be called the best I have had. Have no idea about the Mexican side of the menu. I tend to stay away from Mexican outside of when traveling in Texas or Mexico itself. That is not to say good mexican can't be found, it's just a rare gem in my experience.

Quaint Polish Gem in Mayfair!!!. We were staying at the Metropolitan Hotel and didn't want to eat at Nobu again. We wanted to try something new in Mayfair. We stumbled upon this bistro after avoiding the area pubs. The bistro was unique, who would have thought of a polish-mexican restaurant. The dining area is jammed packed with tons of wine bottles and a few picture frames of actors. I had the Game Feast which consisted of roasted pheasant, wild boar sausage, and venison-beef meatball in a wild mushroom pepper sauce with vegetables...Super. Wife had the Potato & Chive Pierogis...Awesome. These were followed by an apple ala mode and pecan pie. All were amazing. Topped off with a bottle of Chateau Pontensac 1995 Medoc...Fabulous.
