We first discovered Irvin when we popped in for a spontaneous dinner (probably after indulging in some wine tasting at Bottle Apostle...) At that point, the Scottish-slash-Italian bar-and-grill was serving a menu made exclusively of small sharing plates, and a particularly wonderful venison dish has stuck in our minds ever since.

Fantastic food and experience. All dishes were nicely presented and very tasty. Wine was superb too with some of the best Italian options on the list. Customer service was excellent, very thoughtful and smiley. All covid measures are in place so you will feel safe and looked after while having an excellent dining experience. It's definitely a place to recommend or to come back!

This was our first restaurant experience after lock down. All covid measures are well implemented, including a plastic separator between tables. The food was really tasty, perhaps one of the pasta dishes was too spicy so keep that in mind if you don't like spicy food, besides that all good. Perhaps a bit on the expensive side but the food and the attentive staff compensates for it.
