Only gets 4 stars as it only has toilets upstairs hence went to the loo in the theatre. I ordered the steak and I asked it to be cooked blue - cooked perfectly, the salad had a lovely dressing and the chips were crisp. The pub has a lovely atmosphere. My older brother introduced me to The Cambridge in 2009 when I lived in London.
We came here after a very busy night to wind down at the end, and I had a bowl of tomato soup and a pint of Nicholson.
The server was great, he managed quite a large room solo, and still took the time to answer all of our questions about the drink selection, menu options, and the building itself.
Even though we only had a small amount of food, I would definitely recommend checking it out!
