A classic English pub that serves plenty of food is always a good option, even though the prices are a bit above average. Furthermore, it takes too long to attend the customers and to deliver their orders.

Very friendly staff and good ambience but the service took very long. I tried the fish and chips, and I think it was not that special. The batter was crisp and the fish texture was great, sadly the dish was bland. I suggest requesting for salt (and vinegar if you prefer) if you are trying the dish.

Friend at hand! Very classic english pub hidden in the backstreets of Russell square. This pub from the outside looks a bit shady as it is hidden from the sun and view. However, atmosphere in there on big football nights is really good. The pub serves basic beers, nothing too special. They do serve quite a typical english menu to eat. The food is honestly quite average. This place is really more of a pub where you drink.

My advice: great football vibe, not much more.
