For our 14th year anniversary we went to have a meal with our two children. All I can say is that we had a wonderful time the food was fantastic and the service was fabulous. To have a restaurant of this quality in your local area is a plus. We love to eat here and we will be back again very soon. Thank you for a great time and great service
Great Tapas. Friendly staff. A gem in this part of East London. We have been going to this restaurant for nearly 20 years - originally in Leytonstone and latterly in Wanstead. Absolutely fantastic food, intimate space and excellent service.
I've often seen this restaurant when passing. What a mistake. When my family entered we were greeted extremely warmly by the man in the picture. He was engaging and bubbly throughout. We picked tapas from the menu although the specials were explained to us. The food arrived really quickly. The portions were just right and were sufficient to give us all a taster of the 8 dishes we had ordered. Ordering extra was also no problem once we were under way. These also arrived quickly. We had the sardines, patatas bravas & alioli, calamari, anchovies (in vinegar), sauteed mushrooms, chorizo, chicken livers, stuffed courgettes and garlic prawns. All cooked to perfection. Makes me hungry just thinking about it. This excellent establishment is only two stops away for us, so we will be back quite often.
Excellent, authentic Spanish cuisine. Lovely atmosphere and fantastic food. Brought back many happy memories of holidays in Spain, the friends we made, still have and sadly, lost.
Will be back, again and again.
Service spot on. And very reasonably priced considering most places are still trying to rip you off to make up for lost earns due to Covid.
A good local restaurant, lovely atmosphere, especially after a few glasses of Spanish wine. Clean and well decorated space.
The staff seem rather stern at times.
Good selection of food, nice menu...but unfortunately cooked for an English palette (which is a shame).
Amazing almond tart 😋 highly recommend this with a glass of wine or two 😂
Fantastic local tapas place, just what your need in a neighborhood. Polite service and nice large glass of wine. One thing was the coarse salt they used was very coarse and made some of the dishes too salty if you didn't shake it off.
A very busy place. But the staff ensured we had a great evening, taking great care of us. Food was very good . Loved the chicken liver and also the chiperone, but all the food was excellent and good portions too. Choice of small or large paella too. Highly recommended by us. Our second visit was as enjoyable as the first, and we asked if we could bring our dog, they gave us a table with extra space for him.
The best Spanish Tapas you can get outside of Spain. A little gem.
It's a family run restaurant, and the owner and staff really know how to look after you.
The food is out of this world. So much variety, great selection of seafood tapas dishes (inc prawn, octopus, and squid), and every item tastes amazing.
Plus, it's extremely well priced. They could charge so much more, but they don't.
