Enjoy the afternoon day in here is perfect idea.
We got pimms no.1 and the beer, freshing our tired day.
The service is really nice and friendly.

Stumbled across this pub tucked away from the main streets. It is quite a charming place and the open fire creates a special and comfortable atmosphere. We had the vegetable pie and the fish and chips. The pie was perfect whilst the fish and chips were of a very generous tasty portion. They also serve a great range of drinks here.

Though this place is billed as a gastro-pub, this venue is clearly more popular for alcohol than food. Nevertheless the food is really good. We had an assortment of starters and tried the Steak and Ale pie, and the Sausage and Mash pies. 

The pies were really good. Didn’t get around to dessert as the kitchen had closed by then. Ambiance is cosy, and service is friendly.
