Good food, I came to finnegans with somewhat low expectations since ive went to other buisnesses around that area and i was not impressed in the food; but this take away place is completely different the staff where interacting with the customers and were extremely helpful i ordered a jumbo battered sausage with chips (salt and vinegar obviously) and the batter was amazing it was light and crunchy and wrapped around perfectly leaving a nice texture experience the chips were also incredibly done. There are only a few things i have a slight problem with in finnegans though one of them being that it took a while to cook the food,it is a more than average wait time so if you’re in a rush dont order at that moment maybe come back later, i also ordered a large chips since i was sharing with someone else and i would say the size they gave us was medium far from a large unlike some other places where they give you plenty of more chips with the same quality in taste for the same price, another thing is that theres not enough adequate seating theres two chairs and a side that has little nubs sticking out of it which could be unfortunate if someone sat on it without knowing, but apart from that i would recommend this place.
Been twice now everytime it's been great Had Monday madness today as its a Monday with a pot of Welsh hot curry Sauce it's hot and it's Welsh if you around give it a try you will not be disappointed I'm sure.
Nice fish and chips, good quality, price was ok, (bit on the high side like everywhere at the moment) but a decent meal.
