Finnegan's Fish Bar

Went in service was straight away no waiting food was Quality and delicious the atmosphere was a vibe and enjoyed talking to the staff really recommend this place and I’ve been to a lot of chip shops but this is probably the best I’ve been too highly recommend you visit this place best chips in Swansea!

Good food, I came to finnegans with somewhat low expectations since ive went to other buisnesses around that area and i was not impressed in the food; but this take away place is completely different the staff where interacting with the customers and were extremely helpful i ordered a jumbo battered sausage with chips (salt and vinegar obviously) and the batter was amazing it was light and crunchy and wrapped around perfectly leaving a nice texture experience the chips were also incredibly done. There are only a few things i have a slight problem with in finnegans though one of them being that it took a while to cook the food,it is a more than average wait time so if you’re in a rush dont order at that moment maybe come back later, i also ordered a large chips since i was sharing with someone else and i would say the size they gave us was medium far from a large unlike some other places where they give you plenty of more chips with the same quality in taste for the same price, another thing is that theres not enough adequate seating theres two chairs and a side that has little nubs sticking out of it which could be unfortunate if someone sat on it without knowing, but apart from that i would recommend this place.

Beautiful food. Always fresh, Great service. Place is super clean. I drive from FForestfach to the chippy because its my favourite and for what it has to offer on the menu. Its stunning. 3 years on from posting this review I have still been driving from Fforestfach to this place when wanting a Chippy! It’s quite simply the best. Went tonight ( 16/03/23) to pick up my order & the staff are kind & friendly as always & the food is stunning every time. Thank you x

Big shout out to Finnegans my children love the food there . Always fresh . Last time we went they got the order wrong. I didn't realise until we got home. I rang them . Not only did they admit immediately it was wrong and their fault. ( which I really appreciated) . They Replaced the entire meal for free next time we went plus added an extra meal . Plus we kept the food that we were given The 5 stars are hugely deserved, it takes a strong person/ company to admit fault and the way the manager dealt with this was exceptional. Thank you 😊
