Absolutely fantastic, it reminded me of Portmerion, a more boutique version. Simply beautiful 😍

Fantastic garden and house, bit of a hidden gem. We really enjoyed our afternoon here and will return another day. The Folly tower was well worth the short walk up the hill.

The gardens at Plas Brondanw are those of Clough Williams Ellis, the architect most known for creating the Italianate village of Portmerion, which lies a few miles away. Plas Brondanw being the home of Sir Clough, his wife and family. The gardens are designed to provide a series of intimate areas combined with broader sweeps using planting, hedges and topiary. Statues and ornamental features add to the delights, creating points of visual interest. The stunning mountain views and the estural plain of the Glaslyn River offer a marvellous backdrop to the gardens and the house. There's a cafe too.

This is a charming property with stunning views. The cafe is wonderful with great meals to suit all tastes. I’m going back to try the cakes next time they looked yummy ! Do visit the house as well. Altogether a great day out.

Really enjoyed my visit, the garden and views were fabulous, the cafe had delicious cakes, was very tempted by the beef sandwich, but didn't have enough room for it. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly.

Very pleasant food at the café (and excellent service). Splendid views from terrace. Didn't go into the gardens, but a friend, who did, loved it. The house itself is amazing - a real feel for the Williams-Ellis home and a chance to see a brilliant book collection.
