A quiet little cafe tucked out of the way. Went there for breakfast, and the food was fantastic. The staff were very warm and welcoming and provided excellent service. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and will definitely come back here again when back are in Wales
Love coming here for lunch. Staff always very pleasant and welcoming. Food always great. Had the leek and potato soup the other day which was full of flavour with a bit of a kick. Perfect for these gloomy wet days.
A little hidden gem. I visited today with 5 family members and their dog. Doggy water and treats were provided for free. So was a colouring book and crayons for my granddaughter (plus me and my daughter). Pictures were then put up on the wall. Our lovely waitress took our order including extras, swap outs etc. The food and drinks arrived very quickly but all seemed freshly cooked rather than being prepped hours before. Everything was very reasonably priced and the place was spotless. Will definitely call again. Highly recommended.
Service: 10/10. Waiters were very quick to get to us (granted it wasn't busy), took orders accurately, quick to bring food out, giving it to us gently instead of throwing on to our table. They didn't forcibly start cleaning up but waited until it was very obvious we had all finished.
Pricing: 9/10. Prices are definitely more than fair, borderline generous. At first there were a few items that we were concerned with the prices of, but the pricing became very understandable after the amount of food was delivered to our table.
Speed: 10/10. Despite having to make 3 whole Breakfasts and a Meat Panini + platter, the food still arrived quicker to us than most McDonalds can provide a single Big Mac. Despite this, everything was still freshly made, not pre-cooked.
Food & Drink: 9/10. Came very hot and definitely was cooked properly. Ingredients tasted very high quality, and they are generous with your portion sizes. Milkshakes came with a Cadbury Flake which wasn't listed on the menu, which to us was an unexpected bonus but to some could be a problem. They even provided us with two tubs full of sauces, free, should we wished to use them.
Wifi: 2/10. There is free Wifi, but the signal is extremely poor, as are all other signals - mainly due to the location. This doesn't impact the overall rating in my opinion, as this isn't really the type of restaurant where everyone should be on their phones anyway.
Accessibility: 8/10. There are chairs "outside" where wheelchair users can go to avoid entering the small narrow building, but there is a risk you may not be seen by the waiters (they come up to your table to take your order). Dog owners are fine, as Emjay's is dog friendly. Toilets are up some stairs, and I do not recall seeing any lifts, nor does the building seem big enough to fit a lift - so if you are less abled, keep that in mind.
Lovely little gem of a place, it has a visit your nans homely feel, which is just so quaint & a lovely feeling. The food was hot & a great breakfast service great & it's just a very nice place I'd definitely go again I'm a regular visitor to Llandudno & have been in this building many times, I'd highly recommend this place it's clean & peaceful & great food & service x
