I frequent this waterstones as it's the closest nearby and it's fantastic.
The staff are more than lovely and helpful, if they don't have a book in stock they offer to have it ordered in for you.
The layout is great and they often have great deals, you can usually find a 'Buy one, get one half off' section, which I beeline for.
Upstairs is a lovely café, ran by great and kind staff. It's a great place to sit and read in peace. I usually get an Iced Latte with a syrup.
My favourite shop in Llandudno. Excellent range of books constantly updated. Pleasant well informed staff and an excellent cafe upstairs. The cafe offers a good choice of drinks and tempting snacks. It's spacious and a great place to meet and chat with friends or to sit quietly and enjoy a coffee.
We went to the coffee shop here at Waterstones. This is located on the 1st floor but they do have a lift. Store was very clean and tidy and books well displayed in categories. The coffee shop is at the front of the shop on the 1st floor so you can look out onto Mostyn Street. Usual coffees and teas (specialities available also). Nice selection of cakes on display but we just opted for a drink as prices are your usual coffee shop prices so a slight on the dearer side. I had a latte which was OK but was nearing more to a cappuccino. Cups are small aswel so not value for money jn my opinion. Was quiet when we went in and as I don't go regularly I'm not sure if this is usual but I do think the quality and pricing may have something to do with this with the amount of coffee shops in the town and having a local following! Staff were lovely and very friendly and the cafe was very clean and well stocked. Latte cost £3.50 and my brother had a mocha which was £4 something again it was just a small cup and he said it was OK.
