Solo Bar & Restaurant

We dined on a Saturday at 6pm. I expected it to be busier for a Saturday night but the whole time we were there (2.5-3 hours), only two other parties were there. We had the bottomless pizza offer through Wowcher and picked 2x half and half pizzas. This is all we could manage but staff were very tentative and asking twice if we would like more. The pizza was piping hot and one of the best pizzas I've had in Liverpool. The Pesto Chicken was particularly delightful. We had two cocktails which were very yummy. I was surprised that my partner couldn't swap his cocktail for a beer as beer is cheaper. Ah well, more cocktails for me! Moved onto beer and wine after. Wine is very reasonably priced, large glass cheaper than a Camden PaleAle hence my choice to have the wine instead! The staff were very tentative and quick to serve us, smiling and friendly. My only qualm would be that the football was on (not even a Merseyside team though), I just didn't feel it was suitable for a restaurant type environment but I was able to look past it. The ladies toilet could do with some TLC (namely loose toilet seats and no sanitary bins). It's genuinely a shame this place isn't busier because it deserves to be, for the most part. I will be recommending to family and friends.
