My experience at What's Cooking in Liverpool's Albert Dock was truly delightful. The restaurant's charming waterfront setting added a special touch to the evening. The menu offered a diverse selection of well-prepared dishes, accommodating various tastes.
The atmosphere was lively, creating a warm and inviting space. The attentive staff contributed to the overall positive dining experience. Whether you're a local or a visitor, What's Cooking provides a wonderful setting to enjoy delicious food while taking in the iconic views of Albert Dock. I highly recommend it for a memorable dining experience in Liverpool.
A great place!
My partner, my mother, and I dined here on Saturday and had a wonderful meal with great service. We started with the sharer nachos which were a brilliant way to start the meal, very tasty and great value for money. The “Easy Brie-zy Burger” and the “Yankee Burger” tasted as good as they looked, and the Chilli was, as my mother put it “as good as [she] remembers it from all those years ago” when she was in her 20s.
We were served by the lovely Sherin, who happily gave us recommendations and was very knowledgeable of the menu. The service was a standout!
Overall a splendid experience!
Having tried two other restaurants (Miller and Carter and another) and being turned away (very dismissively from M&K) from even eating outside, as we had the dog with us, this restaurant couldn't have been more helpful. The outside tables had heaters and an excellent view over the dock and beyond. The food was lovely, service friendly and overall we had a very positive experience.
