We had an excellent experience here. We had a customization that the kiosk wouldn't allow. When we went to the counter we were cheerfully greeted by a manager, Karen. She helped us with what we needed (which was definitely something best handled at the counter). Being on vacation from America we got into a conversation about Northern Ireland too since they had no other customers at the time. She was SUPER friendly!!!! Our food was above standards for a regular McDonald's as well. It was very clean including the front outside seating and inside. Hats off to a great place AND Karen.
Ordered food for two,18mins later food arrived, took one bite and found both burgers cold, chips also cold. Returned food to counter to complain, a very helpful young lady( who may have hearing difficulties) was apologetic and said she would change the meal. A few minutes later she returned with the replacement meals ( again she apologised, not her fault). Again my wife and I found the meal to be only luke warm. Very disappointed. I could not believe that at 19.20hrs in the evening with a full restaurant two attempts to get hot food could not be served. For a large retail chain I found this totally unacceptable for the £22.17 paid.
In any other restaurant I would have refused to pay the bill, but as you pay up front it does not work in McDonald's Sprucefield.
We have visited this McDonald's slight before 7am. Place was very clean and staff was friendly (especially like for such an early time!). Breakfast was good and fresh.
