Little about the appearance of the outside or the inside of the pub, except perhaps the colourful hanging baskets and the immaculate garden, leads you to anticipate the delights of the food and the beer within.

The landlord is a trained professional chef. His knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, cooking are apparent in the quality of the food on his varied and original menu. He maintains, and expects, high standards. Most importantly he is always on the premises and runs the place with a small and regular staff.
Pub / Restaurants of this quality, in this price range, are a rarity these days. Eating or drinking here is a really enjoyable experience.
My family and I had yet another amazing meal here last week, everything is freshly cooked and exquisitely seasoned, the staff were lovely and all COVID regs were proficiently adhered to.
I look forward to the next time, thank you to all xxx
