Large fish and chips £9.99 on Friday.
Large fish and chips, mushy peas , tartare sauce, £9.99 on a Friday, Total Bargain.
Other party members had Veggie Burger (nice and with proper ‘home made’ onion rings). And mixed grill, which was huge and good value for money.
The Bull delivers good value Pub Grub, excellent beers and lagers, free parking.
Also the ‘Stolen Fridays’ performed as well during the Halloween Party, all for free, brilliant - we go every year.
Well done and keep it up.
Called in for tea at 6 on Saturday evening . There was 8 of us . There were a few big groups in one of 16 and one of 8 , then many smaller tables .
We didn’t have to wait too long for our food which was all very tasty . I had the chicken sizzler with Jacket potato which was delicious. Others had Lasagne , Cajun Chicken breast , Ribs and Chicken Dianne , all cooked well and plenty of food . The home cooked chips were lovely, fresh and crispy . Credit to the Chef Sarah , and Ellie the lovely waitress who worked really hard
Pretty quiet when I turned up. Only stayed the night, but was comfortable, and the gaffer and other punters in their were spot on, chatty and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable, exactly what was needed. Only draw back was didn't do food. Not a problem, though, as plenty of eateries and takeaways close by.
It was great, good value and staff friendly. I almost didn't go based on previous reviews but am glad I did.
Big menu, had the mixed grill as pictured. There's 2 big sausages hiding under the egg with pork, steak and chicken, all for 11 quid!
Let down by another local pub but the staff at the Bull fitted us in. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered from the earlybird menu and all the food was well presented and tasty. Excellent value for money at £15.50 a head for a two course meal and a drink. Would highly recommend.
