Really recommend this pub lovely meal with 6 of our friends food was excellent. Staff very friendly will definitely be going back .

Absolutely Gorgeous food (homemade chips) a rare thing!! quiet and tranquil and welcoming friendly atmosphere and doggy friendly too - my new local! Highly recommend !! very friendly staff and gorgeous scenery next to canal too what more can you ask for ?

If we are in the area again we will be paying another visit, beautiful views across the River Witham full of wildlife and lovely plants and flowers.
We had the sirloin 8oz with jacket potato and the food was cooked to perfection, sirloin was lovely asked for medium rare and thats what I got, the veg and jacket potato was also very nice. We had one dessert which was the fudge cake, it came warm and with ice cream and was delicious.

Absolutely the best meal I've had ever. Myself and my partner came, had 3 courses which was far too much as portions are massive. Forgot to take decent pictures of the whole meal as was too busy eating it. The staff were so friendly we was served mostly by the young lady who's name we forgot however she was so happy and smiley really made us feel so welcome. This was our first visit but definitely not the last. No one complaint about anything a great place to go.
Great patio area to eat and drink next to the river with relaxing views. Very welcoming and friendly staff, and regulars too. Near to either the start or end point of a walk to Tattershall Castle, besides River Bain, where you see plenty of wildlife. Expect to see planes flying close overhead from nearby RAF Coningsby.
