Used to come years ago but came back recently to find it was under new management: huge improvement! Really friendly bar staff, great ales and the atmosphere is really welcoming. Would recommend to anyone as the best country pub for miles around.

Just had a brilliant meal at the brookside, delicious home cooked Indian food, highly recommend it. Lovely friendly staff.

We went there this afternoon after a lovely walk with our dogs, and what a great place this is. New management is absolutely lovely, drinks are great and priced well and the CUTEST dog is in there too which always helps! Great beer garden to sit in too. Would definitely return, lovely village pub��
