This was our first time and it will be a place we will return too for sure, We booked this morning, turned up earlier than our booking and our table was ready, I’m sure like most people Sunday roasts are usually perfected at home, but wow, easily the best Sunday dinner I’ve had away from home ever. The portion was more than ample, the pork was melt in the mouth with a big chunk of crackling…no complaints and the deserts were really delicious and all presented well !
This resturant gas a great location. The decor is fantastic. A really nice bar down stairs and as you walk in the kitchen is on your right, all the guys said hello, a nice touch. The drinks were all good, nice beers on tap and the champagne is a reasonable price. Resturant is upstairs and it is a really nice setting. The starters we fantastic, food quality is second to none and they came our a decent time after ordering. Unfortunately we then waited some 45 mins to an hour for our main courses. We spoke to the waiter and were informed they were on their way but still it was another 15 minutes. When they came the steaks were great, perfectly cooked. Chicken again was excellent but the cod seemed like it had been waiting on the pass for a while under the heat lamp.
On face value and food quality the place is a 5*. The service was ok. However, whatever the issue was you shouldn't wait an hour between a starter and main. Might be a one off so go try it!
We arrived not really knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. We were met by welcoming staff, we wanted rib-eye steaks, the biggest they had was only 300g so we decided to have 2 X 220g each. I have to say this was hands down the best steak I've had in Leeds, and as long as I rmemeber. Cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Would definitely recommend.
