A fantastic place to bring your children for a day out . I visit almost every Week for the tiny tigers my son and daughters ages 1,4,8yrs all love it , there's so many different activitys , we always find something we haven't seen before .
I would highly recommend to anyfamily wheelchair - pushchair friendly ,lovely staff , fasilitys to suet everyone , gift shop and a cafe with reasonable prices 🤣
This is a Museum in which you can spend all day, or just bob in and see a couple of things. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable and today at any rate enthusiastic. The cafe and gift shop are well above the average and it has a good go at being inclusive and accessible. I get the impression that if you gave them examples where they could improve they’d take it on.
Every time I've been here (which is quite a lot, as I live nearby in the city centre) the City Museum has been a great way to while away a few hours or even most of the day if I've got the time.
The staff are really friendly and helpful and the exhibitions are always top quality and really interesting. I particularly like the "History of Leeds" exhibition, its so fascinating to see what our city was like in the past.
They always make a real effort for special collections and event days.
The only complaints I have are so piffling that they aren't really complaints at all, just the fact that it sometimes gets stupidly busy - but this just proves how popular they are so they must be doing something right.
