You will not find a better kept airfield anywhere. Tarmac runway and taxi way immaculate. £ 10 for a single engine 2 seater aircraft to land. Staff are lovely and so chilled. Airfield cafe closed Monday and Tuesday but across the car park is a lovely modern cafe and restraunt open to all..... You must fly into Sherburn and try it for your self......

Came for a ride out, and I was really pleased. The staff are great, great facilities, ringside seat to the light aircraft in a large outdoor garden. It was quiet in the cafe but the flights and apron were busy.

Just had a trial 90 min flight with Dan Moss in a Piper PA28, and it was a truly amazing experience, from the reception staff to the flight and instruction I received from Dan I send a big thankyou to you all. I would recommend anyone wishing to have a flight experience or looking for the perfect gift give these guys a call. John Baxter
