The Loft is great.... they keep me supplied with coffee when I'm working. The cafe is a lovely environment and the food is all made from good quality ingredients and freshly made. The staff are really friendly and helpful and obliging. I go there because I work at the mill but i recommend it for people who want to visit a great cafe just for lunch or a cuppa.. .It may not be in the centre of the village but there is ample parking and a lift for disabled customers and pushchairs etc. Well worth a visit

Never been disappointed with the food yet and there are plenty of sarnie shops nearer to me, but it is so worth travelling the extra distance for. Never had a problem with waiting times or the staff - very friendly and working extremely hard to build on their success since taking over. On one occasion they were running low on stock which limited menu choice.... but guess what.... this isn't a multi-national TNC or a business supplied by DHL..... it is a local business, so the owner sent the head waiter out for more supplies... which is only natural when the place is so popular. I wish them all the best and success and will continue to patronise the Loft. If you want instant, pre-prepared ready food... this is not the place for you... try Greggs. If you want food and drinks prepared from scratch then this is the place to come to. There is a slight delay on food and drink.... but that is because they are making it... not producing it from under the counter or out of a box!!

Went today for afternoon tea and it was amazing! We are regular afternoon tea frequenters and love to try new places.....The Loft is hands down the best we’ve been to yet! The sandwiches had lots of filling, freshly homemade sausage rolls which were still warm and delicious cakes, flapjack and scones! The staff were really friendly and attentive and kept us well watered with lots of tea! Would defiantly recommend The Loft and we look forward to visiting again soon �
