Good food, lovely dauphinois, staff were ambient, not too much not too little, and the refurb is impressive. Had a very healthy portion served, and all of my family were impressed by their food. Sticky toffee pud went down exceptionally well.

After meeting family halfway between where we both live for a dog walk we booked The Bear for lunch, I made 2 phone calls to see if they had availability and then to ask if they allowed dogs. Both calls were answered by very friendly and helpful staff!
This place is lovely, the food was amazing and the staff were fab, today was busy and sometimes service a little slow but a really lovely atmosphere!
We will definitely be returning the roast dinner was delicious!! Thank you.
