Awesome food. Loved Thai noodles n chicken. Ambience is very nice. Desert choices are superb. Friendly staff. Highly recommended. #thaifoodstagram #thailover #noddles #brocli #eathealthy
A great place for a quiet meal, Sabai Sabai offers amazing Thai cuisine. Very peaceful ambience, great service and delicious food. Lot of vegetarian options too. The main course portions are usually for 1 person, so order accordingly. The Zomato page says no bar, but they have a lovely fully-stocked bar. We ordered 2 cocktails, 2 starters and 3 main course dishes for a total of £50. The cocktails are average and can be avoided. But the food is brilliant.
We were supposed to initially go to Kayal which is right across the road but since they had a long waiting we ended up at Sabai Sabai. To start with, the restaurant gives an amazing impression with its grand decor. We were welcomed by a humble man (guessing he's the owner) who completely broke the ice with his quirky attempts to making us laugh. He made us sit down next to the fire place at the start and made us order our drinks and food till he could sit us down. Maybe it's normal for them, but it seemed like a different dining experience for us. The food didn't take too long (which we didn't expect) and the owner made sure at every step he came checked on us, made good conversation with us and at the same time made us order a good amount of food. I'd say he's perfect for the restaurant. At the end, he even got us a birthday cake(on the house) since we were there for a birthday dinner.
Getting to the food, we ordered Chicken Satay, Tom Yum soup with King Prawn, Singapore Noodles with Prawn, Thai Red Curry and rice. All in all, the food was well above average. The atmosphere really made our dining experience liven up. Drinks were nice too.
Spent about 15-20 pound per person for a dinner meal.
Will definitely go back!!!
